In the heart of Las Vegas, there is a place filled with wagging tails, joyful energy, and genuine care. Buddies, a local pet daycare, boarding, and grooming center, is creating something truly special for animals and their humans. Founded in August 2023, Buddies was born from the love and dedication of Estrella and her husband, both longtime pet lovers with a passion for care, community, and connection.
Before Buddies, the business operated under the name Boogie Time from 2019 to 2023. Estrella’s journey began much earlier, working for various cleaning companies and attending school to care for children and seniors. Over time, she realized her heart was with the little ones. While working as a nanny, one of the families asked her to clean their home. That simple favor turned into something bigger. Word spread quickly among friends, neighbors, and relatives, and for five years, she grew a loyal client base through trust and recommendation.
With growing momentum and the constant support of her husband, they decided to build something of their own. He worked nights as a restaurant manager and supported Estrella during the mornings. Together, they started investing in cleaning supplies, tools, and their first vehicle. Eventually, they took a leap of faith and turned their passion into a business.
As Buddies grew, Estrella shifted her focus to building a team, learning about licenses and insurance, and managing social media and promotions. Two years later, her husband was able to leave his job to join her full time. Now, they run Buddies side by side with a strong team and a shared vision.
Today, Buddies operates from a 5,600 square foot facility filled with love, care, and dedication. Their goal is not just to offer services, but to create a safe and fun environment where pets are treated like family. Every tail wag, every happy bark, and every returning client is a reminder of the heart behind this local business.
